Idaho Falls, ID- Relay For Life has been rammed into high gear for another year of high paced adventure in our race to beat cancer. Pit crew managers, Jodi McMurtrey (Event Chair) and Jennifer Moulton (Event Co-Chair) are stoked with prospects of hitting the track for Bonneville County’s best Relay year yet!
“Cruisin’ for a Cure” is the theme chosen to drive relayers forward in their fundraising efforts in 2012.
EIRMC’s team has already started their engines with their Turkey Bowl fundraiser event last November. Gaining recognition in the local newspaper, this crew was able to raise $500 and stretch their relay legs! Another event you won’t want to miss is the 2012 Kickoff event - Dancing with the Idaho Falls Stars. January 18th, 7-9 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium, you can vote for your favorite dancer and start fueling the fire for Relay fundraising. Admission is free, but bring your spare coin and dollars to vote for the night’s star.
Relay is right around the corner. Now is the time to jump in and buckle up. With less than 185 days until the big day, it’s time to put the pedal to the metal and light up our track.
